All are welcome at the UNH Nordic Ski Club! Whether you're looking to be a competitive racer, stay in shape, or just meet some fellow lovers of xc skiing, come join us! We welcome all levels of interest.
Formal practices are during the school week. Even for those not interested in competing, these on-campus outings are an excellent way to stay in shape and socialize with other people. For the racers, these practices offer the base for a more aggresive regimen, which is worked out to accomodate the schedules of those interested.
The club also provides a team for those who are interested in racing. We stay up to date on both official and community races in the area to ensure that we are able to get out and ski as much as possible. We are NENSA affiliated, which means members recieve a discount on their NENSA membership.
Along with practices and races we go on a number of social outings each semester. In the past we have taken ski trips to Bretton Woods, Jackson, and Gunstock, as well as some pre/post snow trips to Mendums Pond, Hilltop Fun Center, and others
This year we are also getting more involved with the broader UNH community through various volunteer projects.
